Claudine´s Emotional Rescue

Emotional Rescue

ROLLING STONES RECORDS CUN 3911/COC 16015
Produced: Glimmer Twins
Cover Design: Peter Corriston
Photography: Roy Adzak
Date: June 1980
Acetates & test pressings

Not the same "Emotional Rescue" version as it was released!
The Rolling Stones finished their recording sessions for this album in Paris in October 1979 (the album tentatively called "Saturday Where The Boys Meet" !!). In November Mick and Keith started to work on the mixing but due to disagreement(s), they spent months trying to figure on what to use or whose mixes were best. Until May 1980 the tracks selection changes constantly and in early June acetates were made, but still with some alternate tracks and a different running order ("Summer Romance" was the opener on these acetates).
It is reported (unsure) that the track "Claudine" was included in these first pressings, but the Rolling Stones have apparently been forced by Atlantic Records to drop it to avoid legal actions against them.

Bring Your Own Meat

Actually, this is not a lost album, but a mock-up sleeve made by M&Co team of designers for a future assignment with the Rolling Stones. They did several proposals for a record called Bring Your Own Meat and other titles as Pain Of Love or Touch Of Flesh were aired for this forthcoming release(s). These are some of the concepts designs for those titles.

Note: M&Co did the cover design for UK Time Waits For No One 1979 anthology LP

LIVE Stones!

Live Stones

DECCA ROST 3/4
Date: 1975
No cover sleeve
2 Test pressings LPs exist (pink and white labels)
Unreleased

Track listing: (?)

Note: Another 1975/1976 release! It was the tenth anniversary of LONDON´s signing the Stones and ABKCO were set to release any Stones material they could.
At least one of those live LPs was ready back in December 1974 and the double set was ready to release as a follow-up to "Rolled Gold" late 1975/1976.
At first someone at ABKCO mentioned there was some unreleased live recordings for one of the LPs, later this project was thought to issue the two live albums "Got Live If You Want It!" and "Get Yer Ya-Ya´s Out!" as a double album. There is a similar "LIVE!" double album pressed in Japan.
No one got a pic from those pink label test pressings?

Note: Packaged in a thin black box with a booklet of early Stones photos, press clipings and tour souvenirs.
Since mid-1974 Bill Wyman involved himself in compiling vocal and instrumental tracks for a concept called "Black Box". He spent months going over the archives, selected about 18 titles, laid it all historically, especially for the collectors, provided this album to Klein which he turned down.
The live songs in this album, "Little Red Rooster" and "Down The Road Apiece", surely are radio recordings, same as with BBC "Cops And Robbers" and "Fanny Mae" sessions.

R&R Circus

The Rolling Stones Rock & Roll Circus
ABKCO/DECCA (?)
Date: early 1975
Cover color proofs exists
Cover design: (?)
Illustration: Alan Aldridge

Note: Since December 1974 to March 1975, it was reported several times that DECCA/ABKCO were set to release this album, which was delayed until September 1975, then to 1982, and CD/Video were finally released in 1996.
There´s some few old acetates from the "Rock & Roll Circus", mostly from The Dirty Mac or The Who set, and an unconfirmed Sterling Sound acetate from April 4, 1975 (as "Necrophilia" acetate, still its existence is unconfirmed), one of ABKCO scheduled "RR Circus" date release!
As noticed before by some collectors, the old 1968-1970 IBC acetates usually are "various-artists compilations" of rare demos or live recordings available at the studio for some unknown reason, which later on, somebody carefully mastered and pressed for personal use, and most were the basis of unauthorized pressings of the early 70´s, from The Beatles, Stones, Cream to Jimi Hendrix or Led Zeppelin.
The 10" IBC acetate, pictured below, have two tracks by John´s Dirty Mac ("Yer Blues" and "Jam") and The Who´s "Mini-Opera" (A Quick One) on side 1, and Jimi Hendrix´s "Live at Winterland Arena" on side 2.
The original 7" one-sided EMIdisc acetate includes Yer Blues.

"The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus" LP acetate features The WHO, JOHN LENNON, JETHRO TULL and TAJ MAHAL. Although this acetate has a release date of 4th April 1975, on STERLING SOUND INC. apparently this concert was never issued on vinyl.
The (unconfirmed) "RR Circus" Sterling Sound acetate track list:

SIDE 1:
1. UNDER THE DOUBLE EAGLE
2.TAJ AMAHAL - CORINA CORINA
3. TAJ MAHAL - AIN'T THAT A WHOLE LOTTA LOVE
4. JETHRO TULL - SONG FOR GEOFFREY
5. DIRTY MACK - MACK-YER BLUES
6. DIRTY MACK - WHOLE LOTTA YOKO

SIDE 2:
1. THE LOVELIEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR
2.THE WHO (TRACK NOT LISTED ON LABEL)
3. ROLLING STONES - JUMPIN' JACK FLASH - PARACHUTE WOMAN
- NO EXPECTATIONS - YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT
- SALT OF THE EARTH
