The ARMS Charity Concerts were a concept by Ronnie Lane, (who had multiple sclerosis) and became a series of charitable rock concerts in support of "Action into Research for Multiple Sclerosis" in 1983. Initially planned to be one event only, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall on September 20, 1983, proved so popular with both the audience and the musicians that a few more concerts in the US were performed, with slightly different line-ups. Two different 60-minute videos were released commercially in 1984, with the proceeds also going to ARMS |
