Peellaert´s Rock Dreams

All rights reserved © Guy Peellaert
The iconic book Rock Dreams, created by Guy Peellaert with rock writer Nik Cohn, had a huge impact when it was first published. Issued under various titles, it told the story of popular music, from the crooners of the 40´s to the glam days of the early 70´s. The Rolling Stones were presented here amidst other pop stars or in their own legendary debauched status. Later, Jagger suggested that the artist create the group's next album cover, 'It's Only Rock'n'Roll'  - to see original album collage go to rollingstonesvaults_guy-peellaert
