The Mick Jagger biography released for Rolling Stones’ 50th Anniversary; Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger, initially scheduled to be on sale on July 10, two days before the 50th anniversary of The Rolling Stones‘ first concert on July 12, 1962, was postponed to July 24 2012.A press release from publisher Simon & Schuster reveals that: " (...) this new portrait by author Christopher Anderson includes new revelations about Jagger’s encounters and/or 'jaw-dropping sexual exploits' involving Eric Clapton, David Bowie, Farrah Fawcett, Carly Simon, Rudolf Nureyev, Linda Ronstadt, Madonna, Uma Thurman, Janice Dickinson, Andy Warhol, Angelina Jolie and former first lady of France Carla Bruni. The book also promises 'flabbergasting truth' about Jagger’s abuse of cocaine, LSD, hash and speed. Mick: The Wild Life and Mad Genius of Jagger also details 'shocking yet credible threats' on his life and the lives of his children and grandchildren, including a 5-million-dollar kidnapping plot".
