It was entered into the 1969 Cannes Film Festival


Michael Kohlhaas is a horse dealer who lives with hiswife and children in their comfortable home.
It has a large herd of saddle and draft animals, and between these two beautiful stallions. To get to the equine market, Michael has to cross the lands of Wenzel von Tronka, the noble lord of the place, which requires the payment of a toll.Offended his sense of justice, Michael refuses to pay, and for that reason the two stallions are kidnapped and his aide Herse...
Starring Anita Pallenberg as one of the co-stars, in fact had a small part in the film.
In late July 1968 Keith Richards visited Anita on the set near Bratislava, Czecheslovakia.He agreed to do a cameo as Nagel´s man, one of the soldiers. The German premiere was at April 1969 and the British premiere was at New Victoria Theatre, London, November 1969.
